Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced New Parts Development Manager to lead end-to-end new product/part development from concept to production, ensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, and cost efficiency at our Wai, Satara Plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle new product development (NPD) from RFQ to SOP
- Study customer drawings, specifications & feasibility
- Manage project timelines as per APQP milestones
- Coordinate with internal teams (Production, Quality, Purchase, PPC)
- Lead tooling development, trials & PPAP submission
- Ensure quality standards and customer approvals
- Support costing and optimize development costs
- Manage customer communication & technical discussions
Key Skills
- Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan
- Experience in automotive / casting / machining industry
- Project management & problem-solving skills
- Good communication & customer handling
- Knowledge of CAD drawings & GD&T
Qualification
- BE / B.Tech – Mechanical / Production / Automobile
Experience
- 6–10 years in manufacturing / automotive sector
- Experience in NPD / Project Management is mandatory
