This role is a high-impact position focused on driving growth and strengthening relationships within a network of automotive dealerships. You will manage a portfolio of existing accounts while pursuing new business opportunities, providing finance and insurance services that enhance dealer operations and customer satisfaction. Working across a broad territory, you will leverage CRM tools, analytics, and personal engagement to grow production and build strategic partnerships. The role requires a combination of business development, relationship management, and operational excellence, offering autonomy, mobility, and the opportunity to influence results across the automotive sales ecosystem.
Accountabilities
- Build and enhance relationships with dealership personnel and key decision-makers
- Execute strategies to increase production within existing accounts while pursuing new business opportunities
- Utilize CRM tools to track leads, analyze interactions, and identify opportunities for growth
- Maintain ongoing communication with dealers to ensure visibility, accountability, and high-quality service
- Identify process improvements and contribute to the evaluation of competitive programs and products
- Leverage networking, cold calling, and referrals to generate sales opportunities
- Navigate multi-department projects to successful completion while maintaining excellent follow-up
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2–5 years of business-to-business sales experience in the automotive industry preferred
- Experience in retail automotive operations preferred
- Strong focus on customer service with excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Organized problem-solving approach and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel 50–75% of the time by air or car
- Legally authorized to work in the United States and its territories
