Role Description This full-time, on-site Commercial Vehicle Sales Executive role is based at our dealership in Slough. The Commercial Vehicle Sales Executive will proactively generate and follow up leads, qualify customer needs, and present suitable commercial vehicle solutions to retail, fleet, and business customers. Daily responsibilities include conducting professional vehicle demonstrations, preparing tailored quotations and finance options, and managing the sales process from initial enquiry through to handover and aftersales follow-up. The role involves maintaining accurate records in the CRM system, managing an active sales pipeline, and meeting agreed sales and profitability targets. The Commercial Vehicle Sales Executive will collaborate closely with the sales, service, and finance teams to ensure a smooth customer journey and consistently high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Strong Sales skills with a track record in achieving or exceeding targets, ideally in automotive or commercial vehicle sales.
  • Proven Customer Service skills with the ability to build rapport, handle objections, and deliver a professional, customer-focused experience.
  • Experience in Account Management and Business Planning to develop repeat business, manage key accounts, and plan activity to grow the customer base.
  • Familiarity with Insurance and finance products related to vehicle sales, including the ability to explain options clearly and compliantly.
  • Valid UK driving licence and confidence in demonstrating and test-driving commercial vehicles with customers.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with competent IT and CRM system usage.
  • Ability to work on-site in Slough, including flexibility to work weekends and peak trading hours as required.
  • Previous experience in motor trade or B2B sales is highly desirable; relevant sales or business qualifications are an advantage but not essential.
