About the Role
We are looking for a disciplined and detail-oriented Collection & Credit Control Officer to support our growing mobility operations. This role is critical in ensuring timely collections, accurate reconciliation, and effective credit control across our fleet portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage daily/weekly collections from customers
- Track and follow up on outstanding payments and arrears
- Perform bank reconciliation and verify payment records (VA / transfers / receipts)
- Identify discrepancies such as wrong payments, short payments, or fraud risk
- Update and maintain accurate records in internal systems
- Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations teams on payment status
- Support credit control processes, including payment reminders and escalation
- Prepare basic reports on collection performance and ageing
- Assist in handling summon charges, penalties, and outstanding balances
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- 1–3 years experience in collections, credit control, or finance operations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and follow-up skills
- Basic knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets
- Ability to handle high-volume transactions and fast-paced environment
Preferred (Bonus)
- Experience in automotive, fleet, leasing, or e-hailing industry
- Familiar with virtual account (VA) collections or high-volume reconciliation
- Experience dealing with delinquent accounts / recovery cases
