Role Description The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a contract, remote role responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational performance across Color Glo International’s global franchised network. This role will lead the design and implementation of operational strategies, processes, and standards to ensure efficiency, quality, and scalability in multiple regions and business lines. The COO will collaborate closely with executive leadership on business planning, financial management, and budgeting to support sustainable growth and profitability. Key responsibilities include monitoring operational metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives, managing risk, and supporting franchise partners with best practices and operational guidance. The COO will also coordinate with sales, marketing, and technical teams to align operations with strategic objectives and customer expectations.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Operations Management, including process optimization, performance monitoring, and scaling multi-location or franchised operations.
- Strong Business Planning capabilities, with experience developing and executing strategic and operational plans in a growing organization.
- Solid Finance and Budgeting skills, including forecasting, cost control, and resource allocation to support organizational objectives.
- Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, inform decisions, and drive continuous improvement.
- Proven leadership experience in senior operations roles, preferably within franchising, manufacturing, or multi-unit service businesses.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, contract capacity, managing priorities across time zones and cultures.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience in automotive, marine, furniture, or related restoration and repair industries is highly beneficial.
