CHIEF COMMERCIAL OFFICER
A leading maritime services organisation is seeking an experienced Chief Commercial Officer to join its executive leadership team.
This is a strategic leadership role for a commercially driven executive with a strong understanding of the ship repair, marine engineering, dry dock, and offshore services sectors.
Responsibilities
• Develop and execute the organisation's commercial strategy
• Drive revenue growth across ship repair, marine engineering, and related service lines
• Build and maintain relationships with shipowners, fleet operators, offshore contractors, energy companies, and other key industry stakeholders
• Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships across regional and international markets
• Lead commercial negotiations, tender submissions, and contract management activities
• Develop pricing strategies and ensure commercial competitiveness
• Work closely with operational teams to align commercial objectives with yard capacity and project delivery requirements
• Provide leadership and direction across business development, sales, and commercial functions
Requirements
• Significant commercial leadership experience within ship repair, shipyards, dry docks, marine engineering, offshore services, or related maritime sectors
• Strong network and established relationships across shipowners, vessel operators, offshore energy companies, marine contractors, and other maritime stakeholders
• Demonstrated success securing major projects, long-term agreements, and strategic commercial partnerships
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth and business development initiatives
• Experience negotiating high-value contracts and complex commercial agreements
• Strong understanding of the commercial and operational dynamics of vessel maintenance, repair, conversion, and marine infrastructure projects
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Maritime Studies, or a related discipline
