Role Description This is a remote Cartrack Dealership Owner role. The Cartrack Dealership Owner will be responsible for establishing, operating, and growing a Cartrack dealership within an assigned territory in Australia. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and onboarding new business customers, presenting Cartrack’s fleet management and telematics solutions, and managing a local sales pipeline.

The role involves building and maintaining strong customer relationships, coordinating product demonstrations, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. The Dealership Owner will also oversee basic operational activities such as local marketing initiatives, reporting on performance, and collaborating with Cartrack support and technical teams to resolve client issues and implement new services.

Qualifications

  • Proven skills in business development, B2B sales, and territory management, ideally within automotive, technology, or fleet management sectors.
  • Strong abilities in relationship management, customer service, and stakeholder communication.
  • Comfort with digital tools, CRM systems, and data-driven decision-making, with the ability to explain technical concepts in clear, practical terms.
  • Solid organisational, planning, and time-management skills to run a dealership operation efficiently while working remotely.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, commercial acumen, and a results-oriented approach to building and scaling a dealership business.
  • Experience leading small teams, contractors, or partners is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of fleet operations, logistics, or vehicle technology is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Valid Australian work authorisation and a valid driver’s license; willingness to travel within the territory as needed.
  • Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
