Job Summary
Design Engineer will be a member of Product Development Team in Guadalajara and reports to Design – Manager in Bangalore. Will be responsible for Design of Ennovi products like range of Connectors, Busbars and Battery Packs for EV.
Main Responsibilities:
- Use CAD software to create detailed 2D or 3D designs for complex projects.
- Working with Application Engineer and customers to perform concept design & redesign at both component and Assembly level from RFQ to Production launch.
- Collaborate with others to establish timelines and deliver as per project deliverables.
- Lead and/or contribute as needed in design review meetings.
- Recording results of design reviews and design decision meetings
- Manufacturing support providing technical drawing assistance to the manufacturing floor to assist in achieving specified design requirements.
- Support build to print projects according company requirements.
Education / Knowledge:
- Bachelor of Engineering – Mechanical or equivalent
- Hands on experience in SolidWorks software with a minimum 3-5 years of experience.
- Ability to analyze data and situation and come up with creative solutions.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with others to solve problems.
- Experience in Design of Connectors and Battery Packs for EV Preferred.
- Knowledge in GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis
