Position Overview
My client is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead overall operations and strategic direction, overseeing engineering, production, sales, and business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, and regulators
- Develop and execute strategic business plans for growth
- Lead end-to-end operations (engineering, production, QC, sales, finance)
- Ensure product compliance with technical, safety, and environmental standards
- Manage and inspire a high-performing team
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities
- Report performance and financials to Group Management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related)
- 12+ years relevant experience, with 5+ years in senior management within automotive industry
- Hands-on experience in commercial vehicle development, manufacturing, or sales
- Proven track record in business growth, partnerships, and P&L management
- Strong leadership and strategic planning skills
- Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin)
