About the Role

We’re looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead new business growth across high-value signage opportunities.

This is a true hunter role, focused on opening doors, creating opportunities, and winning new work across retail, automotive and corporate sectors.

This role requires a dual focus across B2B project stakeholders and direct end-user clients, working closely with businesses to understand their branding, operational, digital and signage requirements, and deliver tailored solutions.

You’ll take ownership of your territory, working across both project stakeholders and end-user clients to identify and secure new business aligned to Signcraft’s strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business growth through proactive prospecting, networking, and industry engagement
  • Build and convert a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Build relationships with both project stakeholders and end-user clients, (retail, automotive, and corporate brands)
  • Work directly with clients to understand their branding, operational, and signage requirements
  • Identify and develop opportunities with multi-site and brand-led clients requiring ongoing signage solutions
  • Manage tenders, proposals, and negotiations through to contract award
  • Deliver end-to-end signage solutions aligned to client needs and business outcomes
  • Collaborate with internal teams to scope and deliver commercially sound projects
  • Maintain accurate pipeline reporting, forecasting, and CRM activity

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven success in new business development / hunter sales roles
  • Industry experience across signage, digital, retail, automotive, property, or related sectors
  • Strong ability to generate leads, open doors, and win new work
  • Ability to work with both B2B stakeholders and direct end-user clients highly regarded
  • Experience working with multi-site or brand-led clients advantageous
  • Commercial acumen and experience in project-based or solution selling
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Self-driven with the ability to work autonomously and take ownership
  • Established industry network highly regarded
  • Current driver’s licence
  • Mandarin language skills highly regarded
