Purpose of the Position

To develop, enhance, and expand BSI India’s business footprint across Certification and Training services. The role covers multiple sectors including IT, Automotive & Auto Components, Food & Food Processing, Healthcare (Medical Devices, Pharma, Hospitals), Banking, Finance & Insurance, General Manufacturing, Product Certification, and Healthcare CE Marking.

Key Result Areas

Brand & Commercial Excellence

  • Act as a Brand Ambassador for BSI, upholding ethical standards and promoting BSI solutions that help clients “Make Excellence a Habit.”
  • Achieve monthly sales budgets by positioning BSI as the preferred one-stop solution partner.
  • Drive One BSI Portfolio adoption, aligning client needs with long-term partnership opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, working closely with internal sales teams to maximize opportunities.

Customer Focus

  • Be recognized as a trusted advisor, guiding customers with market insight and strategic recommendations.
  • Develop a strong understanding of customer industries and market trends.
  • Deliver consistent quality, reliability, and compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze market opportunities and execute annual sales plans to achieve targets.
  • Promote and sell One BSI services to new and existing customers within an assigned geography.
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle, from opportunity identification to closure and delivery.
  • Ensure sold business is delivered on time and as committed.

Sales Skills & Capability

  • Strong knowledge of BSI products and their application across sectors.
  • Effective use of CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Ability to prepare proposals, deliver presentations, handle objections, and close deals.
  • Skilled in needs analysis, value-based selling, and short-term sales planning.

Candidate Profile

  • Degree or equivalent qualification with proven B2B sales experience.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and winning new customers.
  • Ability to build executive-level relationships and explain complex technical concepts.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and experienced in KPI-driven environments.
