About the Role

Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this role serves as the central owner and champion of the AMP Tires brand, responsible for driving revenue growth, margin performance, product strategy, and market expansion. This individual will operate at the intersection of brand, product, sales, and customer strategy, ensuring AMP continues to gain share and relevance in a competitive marketplace.

 

This is a highly cross-functional and collaborative role. While the Brand Manager owns the direction, performance, and execution of the AMP Tires strategy, success is achieved through strong partnership with sales, marketing, product development, operations, and leadership teams. The role carries shared P&L responsibility, with a clear focus on delivering measurable business results.

 

The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with commercial execution, understands the dynamics of wholesale and retail tire distribution, and thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. This role requires a balance of brand storytelling and market positioning, with a strong emphasis on sales enablement, product development, and revenue growth.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary owner and advocate for the AMP Tires brand across TWG, ensuring alignment of brand strategy with business objectives
  • Maintain shared responsibility for brand P&L performance, including revenue growth, margin improvement, and overall category profitability
  • Develop and execute short-term and long-term brand and product strategies to drive market expansion and sustain growth
  • Lead new product development (NPD) initiatives, including identifying trends, defining product opportunities, and managing successful product launches
  • Own the pricing strategy and competitive positioning of the brand, ensuring alignment with market dynamics and margin targets
  • Design and deploy sales enablement programs, promotions, and go-to-market strategies to increase dealer adoption and revenue performance
  • Act as a key stakeholder in managing relationships with Tier 1 accounts and key customers, supporting strategic growth initiatives
  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing to develop and execute brand campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities
  • Develop and deliver training programs (internal and external) to educate sales teams and customers on products, programs, and value propositions
  • Collaborate closely with sales teams (NAM, SAM, BDM) to drive field execution, customer engagement, and growth initiatives
  • Manage product lifecycle planning, including forecasting, inventory alignment, and exit strategies for underperforming products
  • Conduct ongoing competitive analysis and market research to ensure strong positioning and identify opportunities for growth
  • Leverage customer insights and channel data to inform product, pricing, and program decisions
  • Promote the AMP Tires brand at trade shows, industry events, and customer engagements
  • Drive dealer and channel expansion, increasing distribution, adoption, and engagement across TWG’s network
  • Report regularly on brand performance, KPIs, and key initiatives to leadership

Skills & Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent sales experience preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, marketing, and/or product management (minimum 3 years in brand or product management)
  • Strong background in specialty tires, off-road, or automotive aftermarket (preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience in wholesale and retail distribution channels
  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth, margin improvement, and product success
  • Strong understanding of pricing strategy, competitive positioning, and market dynamics
  • Ability to develop and communicate compelling value propositions across customer segments
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and product development cycles
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Experience with sales enablement and program development
  • Familiarity with e-commerce and retail channel dynamics is a plus
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong project management skills (experience with tools like Asana is a plus)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities

Performance Requirements

  • Frequent in-person customer visits
