SUMMARY:

Our client, a well-established and growing automotive franchise group, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Branch & Training Manager to oversee branch operations while driving staff development and training excellence across the business.

POSITION INFO:

Role Overview:

This dual-role position combines operational leadership with training oversight. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day performance of the branch while designing, implementing, and monitoring training programs to ensure consistent service standards and operational efficiency across the franchise.

Responsibilities:

Branch Management:

  • Oversee all daily branch operations, ensuring profitability and efficiency
  • Drive sales performance and achieve revenue targets
  • Manage stock control, inventory, and supplier relationships
  • Ensure compliance with franchise standards and company policies
  • Lead, motivate, and manage branch staff

Training & Development:

  • Design and implement training programs for new and existing employees
  • Conduct regular skills assessments and performance evaluations
  • Ensure all staff are aligned with franchise systems, processes, and customer service standards
  • Facilitate onboarding and continuous development initiatives
  • Identify skills gaps and implement corrective training solutions

Reporting & Strategy:

  • Prepare operational and training reports for senior management
  • Contribute to business strategy and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Monitor KPIs and implement action plans to improve performance

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a management role within the automotive or franchise industry
  • Strong background in staff training, coaching, or facilitation
  • Solid understanding of branch operations, sales, and customer service
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage both operational and training functions effectively
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant business systems
  • Valid driver’s license
