Responsibilities
- Forecast goals and objectives for the department and strive to meet them
- Hire, train, motivate, and monitor the performance of all body shop employees
- Prepare and administer an annual operating budget for the body shop
- Monitor progress and completion of vehicles in the shop, ensuring proper repair and safety procedures are followed
- Maintain high-quality service repairs and minimize comebacks; conduct periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality
- Handle customer complaints immediately and according to dealership guidelines
Qualifications
- Experience as a body shop manager
- High energy, positive attitude, and ability to multi‑task
- Excellent communication, organization, and follow‑up skills
