We are hiring: Senior B2B Buyer // Trader – Focus: Battery Electric Vehicles
Copenhagen or Nice · Full-time hybrid
DB Trading ApS is a specialised B2B automotive trading company with a strong reputation for professionalism, market expertise, and long-term partnership. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Senior Trader to join our team.
The group currently consists of DB Trading ApS, DB Rental AB, and DB Mobility SAS, covering our activities across Europe.
We operate under a proven partnership structure — the right candidate will be offered the opportunity to become a partner.
About the role
You will take full ownership of the vehicle purchasing process — from sourcing and quality assessment to negotiation and supplier relationship management. We have a strong focus on AI across all aspects of our business. We expect candidates to hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent, a minimum of 3 years of industry experience, and a solid network of electric vehicle sellers.
Key responsibilities
- Managing end-to-end vehicle procurement and transaction processes
- Negotiating pricing and terms with dealers, vendors, and business partners
- Assessing vehicle quality and ensuring compliance with company standards
- Working alongside our team and in-house systems to identify trading opportunities
- Cultivating and maintaining strong supplier and partner relationships
What we are looking for
- Proven experience in procurement, negotiation, or vendor management — ideally with exposure to DE, FR, and/or other European markets. With focus on BEV.
- Solid knowledge of the automotive industry with a focus on battery electric vehicles
- Strong analytical capabilities and a results-oriented mindset
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency with CRM tools, spreadsheets, and relevant business software
- Fluent in English and at least one additional European language — German or French strongly preferred
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
