Role Overview
As an Autonomous Vehicle Driver, you will operate and oversee test vehicles during daily testing activities, follow established procedures, and assist with operational data gathering. The role requires a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate and oversee test vehicles during scheduled shifts
• Take manual control of the vehicle when required
• Perform assigned routes and testing tasks following defined procedures
• Observe vehicle behavior and traffic conditions throughout testing
• Document observations, incidents, and test results accurately
• Use mobile applications, vehicle systems, and reporting tools
• Adhere to all operational procedures and safety protocols
• Assist project teams with testing and data collection activities
Requirements
• EU citizenship or legal authorization to work in Spain
• Valid driving licence with a clean driving record
• Availability to participate in training in the United States (visa support available when applicable)
• Good level of written and spoken English
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
• Ability to stay focused during extended driving periods
• Comfortable using smartphones, navigation systems, and digital tools
• High level of responsibility and attention to detail
Nice to Have
• Experience in automotive, transportation, or vehicle testing environments
• Familiarity with autonomous vehicles or ADAS systems
• Basic knowledge of automotive technology and vehicle systems
• Experience working within process-driven operations
• Strong reporting and documentation abilities
