Essential Job Responsibilities for Each Role:
Techs for Lincoln – The Heavy Line Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, drivetrains, suspension systems, electrical systems, and other major mechanical components. This position requires advanced diagnostic skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering repairs right the first time. CDK software
Techs for Subaru – The Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing Subaru vehicles using manufacturer repair procedures, OEM diagnostic equipment, and CDK dealer management software. Duties include performing maintenance and repairs on engine, drivetrain, suspension, steering, brake, HVAC, electrical, and electronic systems while ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate functions independently with minimal supervision and possesses the skills and experience of a C-Class General Service Technician or higher. Previous dealership experience with Subaru is preferred; however, candidates with technical experience working on Mazda, Nissan, Toyota, Honda, or other Japanese import brands are strongly encouraged to apply.
Essential Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair gasoline and diesel engine concerns.
- Perform engine replacements, rebuilds, and major mechanical repairs.
- Diagnose and repair transmission, drivetrain, suspension, steering, and braking systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, fuel, and emissions systems.
- Utilize factory diagnostic equipment and repair procedures.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and identify additional maintenance or repair needs.
- Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently.
- Perform quality control inspections and road tests to verify repairs.
- Maintain productivity and efficiency standards while ensuring quality workmanship.
- Follow all dealership, manufacturer, and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Participate in ongoing technical training and certification programs.
- Perform all other duties as assigned
- The position requires regular and predictable attendance.
- Duties are performed throughout dealership facilities, both indoors and outdoors, with frequent movement around the service drive and vehicle lot.

All applicants must pass pre-employment testing to qualify for employment. Pre-employment testing includes a successful background check and drug screening.
Schedule

Education / Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of automotive dealership technician experience preferred.
- Heavy line, engine, transmission, or drivability repair experience required.
- Ford and/or Lincoln experience preferred but not required.
- Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
- Ability to operate diagnostic scan tools and shop equipment.
- ASE Certifications preferred.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and team-oriented attitude.
