My client in the Automotive industry is looking for a Technician who will perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles across multiple brands. The ideal candidate must be skilled, adaptable, and have experience in the automotive industry to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Key
Duties and Responsibilities:
– Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on vehicles from multiple brands
– Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
– Conduct regular inspections and identify vehicle issues proactively
– Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and service history
– Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow
– Adhere to company policies and procedures in all work performed
– Participate in bi-weekly overtime as required
Minimum Qualifications and
Experience:
– Red Seal Certification
– Minimum 2 years’ experience in the automotive industry
– Work experience on more than one vehicle brand
– Valid driver’s license
Skills and
Competencies:
– Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Good communication and customer service skills
– Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Work Hours:
– Monday to Friday: 07:30 – 17:30
– Bi-weekly overtime may be expected
Remuneration and Benefits:
– Salary range: R9,000 – R15,000 per month
– Pension fund eligibility after 6 months
– Bonuses awarded at the discretion of the company
