Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 – $29.00 per hour depending on experience.
Peterson Dependable Quality Repair is family owned and has been repairing and inspecting private, commercial and heavy-duty vehicles for over 50 years. Our technicians provide the highest quality of service. We pride ourselves on their hard and honest work while treating our customers with respect.
Our Automotive team must provide timely and error-free tire and automotive services. Our goal is for this trainee to gain knowledge and experience needed to work independently and become a successful automotive technician. All you need is a good attitude, a strong work ethic, and great communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Perform tire services, battery installations, oil changes, maintenance services and multi-point inspections notating conditions that exist on vehicles.
- Perform test drives to diagnose and to assure completion.
- Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment.
- Work as a team to provide exceptional customer service.
- Any additional duties assigned by PDQ Repair management.
Experience / Education / Other Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Have a valid driver license, acceptable driving history and access to reliable transportation.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and lift up to at least 50lbs, often repetitively.
- Must be able to adapt to severe climate variances.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations in a professional manner.
- Candidates must be able to successfully complete pre-employment screenings.
- Must be a valid US Citizen and speak English.
