Green Tag Equipment is looking for an experienced Automotive Tech to helps with day-to-day shop operations in a fast-paced rental environment. This role requires someone who takes ownership of the shop, the fleet, and the quality of work being delivered.
Must-Have Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with diesel-powered equipment (generators a major asset)
- Previous experience in an equipment rental business
- Comfortable in a high-pace, deadline-driven environment
- Highly organized, efficient, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Role Responsibilities
- Take ownership of daily shop workflow, job prioritization, and turnaround times
- Diagnose, service, and prepare rental equipment for deployment
- Ensure generators, light towers, compressors, and related equipment are rental-ready
- Maintain preventative maintenance schedules and accurate service records
- Keep the shop organized, efficient, and safe
- Support and mentor technicians while setting the standard for quality and accountability
