Job Overview
Automotive Technician – Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) located in Nashville, Tennessee. Pay range: $17.50 – $26.30 per hour with flat‑rate performance compensation.
Responsibilities
- Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
- Conduct inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems.
- Install batteries and check electrical systems.
- Perform tire maintenance and install parts.
- Road test vehicles and verify functionality.
- Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications in at least one of A1–A8 within the first two years of employment (company covers test and registration fees; bonus for passing).
Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
- Valid automobile driver’s license and ability to drive company or customer vehicles.
- Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance and tire repair services, including oil changes.
- Reading, writing, and basic math skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of automotive repair experience or completion of a vocational‑technical program in a related field.
- Evidence of skills via third‑party certificates or assessments.
- A.S.E. certification or equivalent external qualifications or training certifications.
