Role Description The Automotive Technical Delegate is a full-time, on-site role based in Austria. This role involves providing technical support and guidance to dealers and service partners, ensuring accurate diagnosis and repair of vehicles according to OEM standards. The Automotive Technical Delegate will review and interpret technical information, support warranty and repair processes, and help optimize service performance through regular communication with workshop staff. Responsibilities include analyzing technical issues, escalating complex cases to OEM engineering teams, and contributing to continuous improvement of diagnostic procedures and technical documentation. The role also requires liaising with internal and external stakeholders, conducting technical training sessions where needed, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of vehicle technologies and manufacturer guidelines.
Qualifications

  • Strong automotive technical expertise, including vehicle diagnostics, repair procedures, and familiarity with OEM standards and technical documentation.
  • Experience with workshop tools, diagnostic equipment, and digital platforms used for technical support and repair optimization.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to support dealers, service partners, and internal teams, with the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly.
  • Ability to analyze data and cases, identify root causes, and provide actionable recommendations to improve warranty, repair efficiency, and service quality.
  • Relevant technical education in automotive engineering, mechatronics, or a related field; professional certifications from automotive OEMs are an advantage.
  • Proven experience in a dealership, workshop, technical support, or field service role within the automotive industry.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in English and German; additional European languages are beneficial.
