Key Responsibilities:
** Manage, train, and support our team of Vehicle Maintenance Technicians to ensure efficient, high quality work
** Assist technicians with diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance as needed (must provide own tools)
** Oversee shop workflow, including scheduling repairs, assigning tasks, and managing turnaround times
** Serve as the primary customer contact – provide accurate estimates, explain repairs clearly, and ensure satisfaction
** Ensure all maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs meet our strict safety and quality standards
** Manage shop inventory, oversee parts ordering, and ensure all equipment is properly maintained
** Maintain detailed records of repairs, services, employee hours, and shop performance
** Enforce strict safety protocols to main a clean, safe, and hazard-free work environment
Qualifications:
** Proven experience in automotive repair and vehicle maintenance, with prior experience in a management or leadership role highly recommended
** Strong understanding of automotive diagnostics, troubleshooting, and general repairs (familiarity with wiring and lighting systems is a plus)
** Candidates must provide their own basic hand tools, as this role includes hands-on mechanical assistance
** Ability to lead, motivate, and work collaboratively as part of a team.
** Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills Strong ability to resolve complex mechanical and operational problems efficiently
