Join our team of established transmission repair shops in the Omaha & Council Bluffs area and take charge of driving both sales and team performance. Certified Transmission is looking for retail store managers with a strong focus on sales growth and team management to lead our facility to success. As a retail store manager, you’ll have the opportunity to lead the facility’s operations, ensuring profitability through effective sales strategies and high-performing team leadership. Your role will focus on maximizing revenue, managing day-to-day operations, and fostering exceptional customer experience-all while motivating and managing a team to deliver outstanding results.
Key responsibilities of the retail store manager include:
- Lead sales efforts by implementing effective sales strategies, driving revenue and growth for the facility
- Maximize sales opportunities and ensure gross profit margins are maintained while controlling expenses and ensuring ethical business practices
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, identify growth opportunities, and adjust maximize revenue
- Utilize your sales expertise to train and motivate your team to consistently meet and exceed sales targets
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to ensure the team understands sales processes, customer needs, and upselling techniques
- Lead by example and demonstrate a hands-on approach to drive sales results
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team by setting clear goals, providing constructive feedback, and promoting professional growth
- Hold monthly meetings with associates to set sales goals, discuss performance, and address concerns, fostering a positive team culture
- Ensure exceptional customer experience through effective communication, resolving issues swiftly, and upholding company standards
- Focus on building long-term customer relationships and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
- Handle warranty situations with care, ensuring that the customer feels valued, and the issue is resolved efficiently
- Monitor financial transactions carefully, ensuring accurate handling of funds, checks, and payments
- Keep the facility clean, safe, and well-maintained, ensuring that the team follows proper operational procedures
What you bring to the table:
- Experience in retail sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and maximizing revenue
- Ability to lead, inspire, and develop a team, ensuring that associates perform at their best
- Experience in managing store operations, including budgeting, overseeing day-to-day activities, monitoring expenses, and analyzing sales data to drive profitability
- A focus on providing excellent service and building lasting relationships with customers

Monday to Friday, compensation is salary + monthly bonus – you keep a portion of the profit dollars with an increasing shared percentage.
