RESPONSIBILITIES:

Efficiently perform all work specified on repair orders in strict adherence to dealership and manufacturer standards.

Conduct comprehensive test-drives and systematically evaluate vehicle systems using advanced diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment.

Expertly diagnose, maintain, and repair complex automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.

Collaborate closely with Service Advisors to communicate findings, provide accurate labor time estimates, and recommend additional services when necessary.

Execute warranty repairs in full compliance with manufacturer specifications, ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Uphold safety protocols and technical standards to maintain operational excellence and minimize vehicle downtime.

REQUIREMENTS:

Automotive Service Experience: Previous experience in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of automotive systems is preferred, including engines, transmissions, electrical, suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems. Familiarity with dealership procedures and manufacturer service standards is highly valued.

Technical Proficiency: Skilled in the use of diagnostic tools, specialized service equipment, and test-driving procedures to accurately identify vehicle issues and perform high-quality repairs.

Teamwork & Communication: Strong ability to collaborate effectively with Service Advisors, technicians, and other team members. Capable of following detailed instructions, maintaining clear communication, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Problem-Solving & Initiative: Demonstrates sound judgment in assessing repair needs, recommending additional services, and providing accurate labor time estimates. Ability to troubleshoot complex automotive issues efficiently.

Licensing & Compliance: Must hold a valid U.S. driver’s license and adhere to all safety, regulatory, and manufacturer guidelines during service procedures.
