Role Description This full-time, on-site Automotive Sales Advisor role is based at Cupra & Seat Ipswich. The Automotive Sales Advisor will greet and assist customers in the showroom, actively listening to their needs and recommending suitable vehicles and finance options. Daily tasks include managing test drives, explaining product features and benefits, preparing accurate quotations, and guiding customers through the sales and handover process. The role involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of brand models, offers, and promotions, as well as using CRM systems to follow up leads and nurture ongoing customer relationships. The Automotive Sales Advisor will collaborate with colleagues in sales, service, and finance to ensure a seamless customer journey and contribute to meeting individual and dealership sales

targets.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of customers and colleagues.
  • Excellent communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and effective active listening.
  • Proven customer service skills with a focus on delivering a positive, professional, and consistent experience.
  • Demonstrated sales abilities, including negotiation, closing, and working towards targets in a retail or automotive environment.
  • Experience in training or coaching peers or new team members on products, processes, or customer interaction techniques.
  • Comfort using dealership systems, CRM tools, and basic office software to manage leads and documentation.
  • Knowledge of automotive products, finance options, and industry trends is advantageous.
  • Valid UK driving licence and the ability to conduct test drives safely.
  • Previous experience in automotive sales or another customer-facing sales role is preferred but not mandatory.
