Here at Creative Liquid Coatings we do far more than just liquid coatings. Over the past 30 years the business has expanded to offer advanced plastic injection molding capability with 40 machines ranging in size from 100 ton to 3600 ton at our HQ facilities. In addition to plastics molding we offer world class automated paint finishing capability. Our versatile paint lines can handle parts that are very small and all the way up to 10 feet long. We process an array of performance materials from commodity grades to custom blends and engineered thermoplastic resins.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Establishes and maintains procedures for high standards of quality, reliability and safety by helping define production process parameters to ensure products meet customer specifications.

· Develop or revise standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards.

· Create documentation for production support and data collection.

· Conducts Quality Assurance training for employees.

· Monitors production department’s conformance with Quality Assurance standards and procedures through review and analysis of production data or customer RMA returns and audit findings.

· Lead / participate in corrective action and problem solving teams in performing problem solving techniques

· Perform Process Capabilities and measurement studies using statistical techniques

· Develop, document, and provide for continuous improvement in manufacturing processes, production, and quality. Suggests methods for improving product quality.

· Familiar with customer specific Quality System requirements

· Responsibility to act as liaison with external parties (customer & supplier) on matters relating to the quality system.

· Lead and/or participate in APQP and new product launch activities, along with creating and updating process Control Plans and FMEA as needed.

· Interfaces with Program Management, Quality Engineer/Auditors, and Manufacturing.

· Support TS16949 initiatives.

· Audit vendor PPAP’s production materials.

· Read and Interpret GD & T

· Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
