Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting automotive parts and accessories that meet their vehicle requirements, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Utilize automotive diagnostics and mechanical troubleshooting skills to identify suitable parts and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Manage inventory control through accurate stock management, order fulfillment, and inventory management systems such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Build strong customer relationships by providing expert advice on vehicle maintenance, repair procedures, and product features.
- Process sales transactions efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems while maintaining accurate cash handling and cashiering procedures.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure proper stocking, merchandising, and organization of automotive parts to optimize sales opportunities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive systems, parts sales techniques, and industry trends through continuous learning and training.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive repair or dealership environments with a solid understanding of vehicle systems and automotive parts management.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual proficiency is highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word, along with familiarity with retail math, marketing strategies, and POS systems.
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical troubleshooting, auto parts sales, and retail sales techniques.
- Experience with inventory management tools like CMMS or similar software is preferred.
- Ability to build rapport with customers through exceptional customer service skills while demonstrating mechanical knowledge.

Pay: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour
