Role Description The Automotive Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role (EDSA) responsible for overseeing all automotive-related operations. This role manages daily fleet operations, including vehicle scheduling, preventive maintenance, repairs, registration, insurance, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The Automotive Operations Manager monitors performance metrics such as fuel efficiency, utilization, downtime, and maintenance costs, and implements process improvements to optimize reliability and cost-effectiveness. This position coordinates with internal stakeholders (e.g., sales, distribution, and administrative teams) and external vendors (e.g., service centers, parts suppliers, and insurance providers) to ensure timely and efficient support of business operations. The role also leads and develops the automotive operations team, ensuring clear work planning, proper documentation, and adherence to company policies and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong background in automotive operations, including fleet management, vehicle maintenance planning, and workshop or service-center coordination.
- Proficiency in operational planning, scheduling, and logistics coordination to support field teams and distribution requirements.
- Knowledge of relevant safety, transport, and regulatory standards in the Philippines, with the ability to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Experience in vendor management, including negotiation and oversight of service providers, parts suppliers, and insurance partners.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including team supervision, coaching, performance management, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience using data and KPIs to drive decisions and process improvements.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and interact professionally at all levels.
- Relevant technical or bachelor’s degree in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field; equivalent practical
