Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Automotive Mechanic role based in Tema. The Automotive Mechanic will inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical issues in a variety of vehicles, ensuring safe and efficient operation. Daily tasks include performing routine maintenance services such as oil changes, brake servicing, tire rotations, and fluid checks, as well as more complex repairs to engines, transmissions, suspension, and steering systems. The role involves using diagnostic tools, following manufacturer guidelines, maintaining accurate service records, and adhering to safety standards and company procedures. The Automotive Mechanic will also communicate clearly with supervisors and customers about vehicle conditions, recommended services, and repair timelines to support high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Vehicle Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for a range of light and heavy-duty vehicles.
  • Candidates should possess practical Automotive and Automotive Repair skills, including diagnostics, mechanical troubleshooting, and use of standard tools and equipment.
  • Candidates should possess a focus on Customer Satisfaction, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly and provide professional service.
  • Relevant technical or vocational training in automotive technology or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience as an automotive mechanic or technician in a workshop or fleet environment is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to read and interpret service manuals, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Tema and collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
