Job Summary
Maintenance Technician is an entry level position at Firestone Complete Auto Care. The role involves diagnosing and repairing basic automotive systems including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical components. The Technician will also perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire maintenance, battery and shock absorber installations, and road tests. The position offers full and part‑time benefits from day one, with a pay range of $14.52–$21.78 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair basic automotive systems including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
- Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
- Install and maintain tires, batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
- Conduct road tests on vehicles.
Qualifications
- Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
- Valid automobile driver’s license at all times with ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
- Preferred experience in automotive service industry.
- Reading, writing, and math skills.
- Temporary work authorization and sponsorship status may affect eligibility.
