Role Description The Automotive Industrial Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Bangkok Metropolitan Area, responsible for overseeing daily industrial and manufacturing operations within the automotive business. This role involves planning and coordinating production activities, ensuring manufacturing schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations are met. The manager will supervise and support cross-functional teams, monitor performance, and resolve operational issues to maintain smooth workflows. Daily tasks include coordinating with sales and customer service teams to align production with customer requirements, managing resources and budgets, and reporting key operational metrics to senior leadership. The role also includes driving process improvements, supporting new industrial or product projects, and fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement on the shop floor.
Qualifications
- Strong team leadership and Team Management skills, with experience supervising diverse teams in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Project Management, including planning, organizing, and tracking automotive or industrial projects from initiation to completion.
- Experience in Manufacturing operations, preferably within the automotive sector, with knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
- Ability to collaborate with Sales teams to align production capacity with demand forecasts and support business growth targets.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong Customer Service orientation, able to translate customer needs into operational priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Automotive Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify issues, and implement effective solutions.
- Effective communication skills in English and Thai (spoken and written) and the ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or similar methodologies is an advantage.
- Proficiency with standard office and operational software (e.g., MS Office, production planning or ERP systems) and the ability to learn company-specific tools.
