Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Stikland Belville Western Cape province for an Automotive Estimator. The Automotive Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for vehicle repairs and refinishing projects. Day-to-day tasks include assessing vehicle damage, generating repair quotes, collaborating with clients and insurance companies, and maintaining documentation. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the company delivers efficient and cost-effective services to its clients.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Damage Assessment and Cost Estimation techniques for automotive repairs
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to liaise with clients and insurance providers
- Attention to Detail and ability to produce accurate documentation and cost analyses
- Basic Computer Skills, including experience with Audatex software and Microsoft Office
- Understanding of Automotive Parts, Repair Processes, and Material Costs
- Problem-Solving and Analytical Thinking skills to evaluate repair needs and recommend solutions
- Experience in similar roles in the automotive industry is highly advantageous
- Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in automotive repair and cost estimation would be beneficial
