Automotive Dispatcher
The Automotive Service Dispatcher is experienced and results-focused, responsible for dispatching work to technicians and maintaining daily schedules for all technicians.
Responsibilities
- Distribute shop work as efficiently as possible in accordance with dealership policy.
- Assign work to the correct technician level.
- Ensure that technicians follow warranty policy and procedure guidelines.
- Administer safety and housekeeping policies and procedures.
- Review hard copies turned in by technicians to ensure that assigned work has been completed properly.
- Ensure technicians complete the multi-point vehicle inspection forms.
- Maintain a record of carryover vehicles.
- Coordinate parts requirements with the Parts Department.
- Spot-check repairs to assure quality and timely completion.
- Ensure that all repair orders are accounted for and properly documented.
- Assist in all other areas of the Service Department.
- Achieve the production objectives set by management.
- Maintain high ethical standards in all actions.
