Who we are
We are responsible for establishing overall strategies for the automotive business within Hyundai Motor Group, as well as operating and supporting management-level committees. We build governance structures that enable timely discussion and resolution of group‑level strategic issues, and collaborate closely with relevant teams across group companies to ensure that established strategies and initiatives translate into tangible business outcomes.
Responsibilities
This role is responsible for developing strategies and improvement initiatives across the full automotive value chain, including planning, production, and sales.
■ Automotive Business Competitiveness Strategy Planning
- Developing strategic direction for the automotive business through internal and competitor analysis
- Supporting executive decision‑making through company‑wide governance meetings
- Deriving group‑level strategies through global market environment and competitor strategy analysis
- Preparing analytical materials to review agenda items and support decision‑making for executive meetings
■ Issue Response Management
- Monitoring key management issues in the automotive business and developing response plans
- Across all areas of the automotive business, including production, sales, and service
■ Response to Executive Directives
- Managing tasks assigned by senior leadership and overseeing follow‑up actions
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Minimum 4 years of experience in strategy/planning, executive-level governance meeting planning, or related functions
- Proficiency in English (fluent in both written and oral business communication)
- Experience in developing strategies for key business issues facing the company and leading global projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in strategy, planning, or management roles at large corporations or holding companies, or with a background in strategy consulting
