Role Description The Automotive Accessories Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a variety of automotive accessories. Day-to-day tasks include fitting interior and exterior accessories such as car audio equipment, lighting systems, body kits, parking sensors, dash cams, and protection films according to manufacturer specifications and customer requirements. The technician inspects vehicles before and after installation, ensures proper functioning of accessories, and documents work performed. This role also involves communicating with customers about accessory options, providing basic product guidance, and collaborating with team members to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workshop. The technician is expected to follow safety procedures, meet quality standards, and support inventory control for tools and accessories.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with installation and basic troubleshooting of automotive accessories (e.g., audio systems, lighting, sensors, dash cams).
- Practical knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, wiring, and use of common hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings, installation manuals, and manufacturer guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail, quality-focused workmanship, and commitment to safety in a workshop environment.
- Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members in a professional manner.
- Ability to manage time, organize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced, on-site setting.
- Previous experience in automotive accessories, car customization, or related technician roles is highly beneficial.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in automotive or electrical fields is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn new products and techniques, adapt to procedures, and support team objectives.
- Eligibility to work on-site in Dubai and flexibility to work standard retail or workshop hours, including weekends if required.
