Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Automehaničar (Auto Mechanic) role based in Zagreb. The Automehaničar will perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of passenger vehicles, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical systems. Daily tasks include inspecting vehicles, identifying mechanical issues, performing routine services (oil changes, filters, tires), and using diagnostic tools and equipment to resolve technical problems. The role involves following safety procedures, maintaining accurate repair records, and collaborating with service advisors and colleagues to ensure timely and high-quality work. The Automehaničar will also communicate clearly with team members about repair needs, parts requirements, and service timelines.
Qualifications
- Solid technical knowledge of vehicle mechanics, diagnostics, and repair of engine, brake, suspension, and electrical systems.
- Hands-on experience using automotive tools, diagnostic equipment, and following manufacturer service procedures.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation and service manuals and apply them in daily work.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a workshop environment.
- Relevant vocational or technical education in automotive mechanics or a related field.
- Previous experience as an auto mechanic or in a similar automotive service role is highly beneficial.
- Willingness to learn new technologies, adapt to industry changes, and participate in ongoing training.
