Seeking an AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE/SHOP MANAGER for Angst Motor Service in Minnesota City, MN!

Angst Motor Service in Minnesota City, MN, is NOW SEEKING an experienced Automotive Service/Shop Manager to help grow our reconditioning productivity and efficiency. Angst Motor Service is the central reconditioning repair shop for Cars-N-Credit’s 4 retail locations located in Winona, Owatonna, Rochester & Mankato, MN.
Service Managers * Shop Managers * Shop Foremen * Lead Technicians * Service Advisors w/ Auto Repair Knowledge

Responsibilities:
- To lead day to day operations and increase production of the company’s Service/Reconditioning Department
- Overseeing and expediting the reconditioning of vehicle inventory for the company’s 4 retail locations
- Oversee customer vehicle warranty repairs and maintenance
- Manage and mentor a current staff of 6 Technicians and 3 Detailers
- Oversee and track work in progress and the results of technician repairs
We Are Seeking:
- 3+ Years of Automotive Service/Shop Management Experience Required
- Previous BHPH or Independent Dealership reconditioning experience is Preferred but will consider any Professional shop experience
- Strong understanding of Automotive Diagnostics and Repair procedures
- Strong leadership and team-building skills. A mentor for other staff
- ASE Certifications would be a PLUS
- Proven ability as a problem solver who will identify areas needing improvement, develop solutions, strategies, and procedures to solve them and effectively implement the changes to improve profitability and department performance
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Well organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with shop management software and repair order systems
- Experience managing warranty, internal, and retail repair work Preferred
- Good computer skills. Ability to type and learn shop software, following the progress and results of the technicians and vehicles
- Bilingual Skills (English & Spanish) is a PLUS
