Job Summary
We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Auto Body Shop Technicians, Preppers, Body Repair Techs, and Painters to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition using advanced repair techniques, automotive structural repairs, and cosmetic refinishing. Your expertise will ensure that every vehicle leaving our shop meets the highest standards of quality and safety. Duties
- Perform automotive body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal work, and structural repairs using welding repair techniques such as MIG welding and soldering.
- Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and applying automotive cosmetic repair techniques with airless paint spraying equipment.
- Conduct auto restoration projects, utilizing fabrication skills such as metal fabrication, working with sheet metal, and custom fabrication repair techniques.
- Execute auto body refinishing tasks with precision, including auto painting, detailing, and automotive parts installation to ensure a flawless finish.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for disassembly, assembly, sanding, welding, and other repair processes.
- Perform auto glass replacement and automotive parts installation while adhering to safety standards.
- Maintain detailed documentation of repair procedures, estimates, and customer communication; provide excellent customer service throughout the process.
- Assist with heavy lifting and mechanical tasks related to vehicle maintenance and repair as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or in a similar role within a dealership or independent shop environment.
- Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques including welding (MIG welding), soldering, fabrication repair techniques, and automotive structural repairs.
- Familiarity with automotive cosmetic repair methods such as sanding tools, auto painting (including airless paint spraying), and detailing.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, automotive welding equipment, and sheet metal fabrication.
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and automotive parts installation is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly about repairs and estimates.
- Dealership experience is preferred but not required; a strong background in auto restoration or collision repair is highly valued.

Pay: $21.00 – $25.00 per hour
