Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Manager – Total Quality Management Research and Development at PT. Mutu Gading Tekstil. The position is based in Karanganyar and involves overseeing quality management and R&D projects, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and developing innovative methods to improve manufacturing processes. Additional responsibilities include analyzing data to identify areas for process improvements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with sustainability practices, and supporting new product development initiatives. The Assistant Manager will also oversee quality testing processes and documentation to ensure product excellence.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Total Quality Management (TQM), quality assurance methodologies, and quality control processes.
- Experience in research and development, innovation implementation, and process improvement strategies.
- Proficiency in analyzing data, working with advanced manufacturing technologies, and implementing process optimization techniques.
- Experience working in the textile or polyester industry is a plus.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with software tools for data analysis and reporting is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications in TQM are preferred.
- Working knowledge of sustainability practices and global compliance standards relevant to the textile industry is a plus.
