Reporting to the Manager of Line Maintenance, this position emphasizes repairing aircraft seats, lighting, and other interior parts. You will perform maintenance with guidance from experienced ACA or AME professionals, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and up-to-date documentation. Active participation in Porter’s Safety Management System is also essential to maintain a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Repair and maintain aircraft interior parts and components
• Document all repairs with the latest amendments
• Ensure adherence to safety rules and regulations
• Keep the shop tidy and equipment in working condition
• Assist in training new employees on job skills
Requirements:
• Secondary school completion required
• College diploma in aircraft maintenance
• Valid Ontario driver’s license with a clean record
• Mechanical experience is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 23kg
