We are looking for a skilled ADAS Test Engineer (Proving Ground) to join a cross‑functional agile team working on next‑generation vehicle testing solutions and the supporting systems that enable safe and reliable autonomous and ADAS functionality. Job location is at the test track Hällered Proving Ground located 70 km outside of Gothenburg close to Borås.
What You’ll Do
Plan, prepare, and execute tests on proving grounds for AD, ADAS, and V2X systems
Operate advanced test equipment such as steering robots and soft targets
Take technical, operational, and safety responsibility for test setups and procedures
Develop and improve test methods, tools, and systems
Maintain and enhance testing equipment to meet current and future standards
Collaborate with stakeholders to support development of digital tools and test capabilities
Participate in research and innovation projects related to active safety and autonomy
Support fault tracing, troubleshooting, and resolution during test execution
Ensure high-quality data collection and measurement accuracy
What You Bring
M.Sc. or experienced B.Sc. in Mechatronics, Electronics, or similar education
Good skills in Electronics, Control, and Automation
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Valid Swedish driving license (Category B)
Experienced driver (minimum 15,000 km/year or motorsport experience)
Experience in programming, preferably in Python; knowledge of C and C++ is considered meritorious
Knowledge of measurements and signal processing, including experience with:
- Vector tools (CANalyzer, CANoe, CAPL)
- Communication networks such as LIN, CAN, and Ethernet (meritorious)
Experience working with hardware and/or measurement equipment is preferred
Experience working with AD (Autonomous Drive) and V2X (vehicle-to-vehicle or vehicle-to-infrastructure) is considered meritorious
