Role Description As an Accountant at Carly | كارلي, you will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate general ledger entries. You will prepare and review financial statements, assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, and support budgeting and forecasting activities. The role includes monitoring accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payments, and supporting cash flow management. You will help ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, internal policies, and local regulations, and assist with audits and financial analysis as needed. This is a full-time, remote role, requiring close collaboration with cross-functional teams through digital channels.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets (e.g., ERP systems, Excel or similar tools).
- Ability to manage accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and cash flow tracking.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in numerical work, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is an advantage.
- Experience in e-commerce, technology, or automotive sectors is a plus.
